While nd oil fields dont have the reputationthar coal mines do, they aren't exactly contending for any workplace safety awards.
Sell all your worldly posessions and buy a plane ticket to hawaii. Great weather, showers at every beach, free food from farmers markets and such. And over there you are considered to have a strong work ethic if you are willing to do 40 hours a week.
I even got hookups over there. Could get you a job on a snorkel tour boat. Getting paid to hang out on a boat and swim with tourists sounds better than coal miner IMO.
