Get a smaller barrel. Autococker detents only prevent double feeds they don't keep balls in the barrel. That is because autocockers are closed bolt. The bolt brings the ball into the barrel before firing.

you need a barrel kit for a cocker since the paint to bore match is the only thing holding the paint in place. typically you want a slight underbore for a closed bolt marker.

or, you can just put some tape or something on the inside of the barrel:

I really love my Lurker barrels. 1 piece straight bore.

They only make 2 sizes, .678 & .684, but I've yet to run into any situation where I need anything more.

most high end paint i find is round .685 (valken high ends etc)
Anything paint that rolls out of the .684 works great in the .678.

Just my experience ths far.

I use a .680 dye UL back or .682 kaner back and don't seem to have any issues with roll outs.

I've been using the cp kits which a really nice too for the money. You can pick them up pretty cheap.

I've recently had roll outs of my .682 kaner back. I'll likely need to get one of my larger kaner backs bored for freak inserts...

It's pretty bad when you have to put tape on a .679 freak insert. Paint just keeps getting smaller and smaller.
