Well you spent 300 on a camera...so right off the bat you only made 429.
Then you have to factor in gas, you went to 8 events. Lets say you only used half a tank there and back so thats 4 tanks of gas you needed. The average tank of gas costs ~50 so thats another 200 so you're at 229 right now. Then I'm assuming you ate/drank and had other random costs that if you spent $10 on food/drink each time thats another $80 but even without that factored in. 229/5=45.80 45.80/4=11.45 11.45/7=$1.63 a day. You could walk around a grocery store and find more than that. So while it's awesome that you found a fun and easy way to make a little money taking pictures this is hardly a business model someone would want to use. You can't even fund newer/better photog equipment with the amount you made unless you were waiting years.
