tracking number
ok basically i bought a few things from planb381 monday night
he claims he shipped them out tuesday
i have no tracking number and have been told thru private messages from him it should be here tomorrow(friday)
thats 4 days total to ship from indiana to virginia
ps. i paid thru paypal and did it as a purchase of goods (even after he asked me to gift- which is why i didn't, i figured something like this would happen)
edit: he claims it should be here tomorrow and says that he doesn't use tracking numbers for shipping

It's not unreasonable for the items to not be there yet. Say he shipped Tuesday night and missed the USPS truck. It couldve gone out on Wednesday. Either way it seems you might be jumping the gun.

The only dispute I have with your response is that he shipped using UPS. I checked UPS ground and he claims he shipped Tuesday morning. From his zip code to mine they claim it should have arrived today. But the arrival date isn't what I am referring to or I would've named the thread this. He will not send me a tracking number because he doesn't use them he claims. So basically, my question is this...how long should i wait until I dispute it with paypal?

If he shipped UPS then it comes with a tracking number. UPS ground takes even longer than USPS priority usually. Thats your call. I wouldn't like that he refuses to give a tracking number. I would give him until tomorrow but thats my opinion.

Well I asked one of his previous buyers and he said he never got a tracking number either but he got his package. He claims he "lost" the receipt with the tracking number.I agree, if it doesn't come tomorrow (4 days of shipping) I'll dispute it

IMO, even Friday would be jumping the gun on a dispute (tuesday to friday is really only 3 shipping days though. tue-wed being 1, wed-thu being 2, and thu-fri being 3).
UPS ground is horribly slow, always has been.
How far is it being shipped?

He actually sent it USPS. And it came today. This has been a nervewracking sale if I say so myself
