Want to start a UTPA in Edinburg, tx Paintball Team

I was looking at the NCPA website and i noticed that UTPA had a paintball team in 2002. Well i want to start it back up. So are there any current UTPA students who play paintball? we need at least 3 students with Tourney ready equipment to have the minimum to start a team. If you are out there, post on the forum. there is a Tourney in San Marcos on the 10/24/09. this is a college paintball tourney. If we can get enough ppl. we can get 2 practices in before the tourney.

If only I was at UTPA still. If they can still accept my school ID I would be down. lol. But good luck with the team!

Good practice today, the set up was awesome. On one game game I felt like I was playing COD and was one kill away from an Artillery.

If anyone know pb players that are enrolled at panam let them know. i need a minimum of 5 players to sign up on ncpa and make the pb team/club official.

i asked about this last semester and there is already a pb club but it has been inactive for quite a while already, maybe you could give life to the paintball scene in panam!

that is exactly what i am trying to do. but the problem is finding enrolled students with tourney gear and the ambition to get out on the practice field so we can give other universities a challenge. UNT, UT Austin, A&M, Baylor, and many other schools in texas and many more throughout the US have paintball teams with players willing to commit to the sport just like others commit to football, basketball, baseball, etc. We need to find these players and start bring this sport to Panam so we can go compete against other universities and show them what South Texas has to offer.
