Wouldn't the Karma be such a great car with a performance oriented V8? God it looks good.

I agree, it looks sexy as hell! Haven't seen any interior shots, but for $100,000 + I bet it's bangin'! I guess this is the human races karma it receives for polluting the earth - a sexy, RWD, 4 door looking coupe, with Aston Martin looks and NO balls.

Wasn't Fisker's last car based on the M6? They should have stuck with that. The Karma would be worth every penny if it had the new TTV8 from the M5.

Some people at my school got a tour of their facility here in So Cal (Irvine I believe?). Unfortunately I wasn't able to make it, but heard it was really cool.
Anyway, it has a gas motor but it's only used to power the generator; it's not actually connected to the wheels. It can go 50 miles on straight electric, don't remember it's range on the gas motor. Has 500 some odd lb/ft of torque iirc, weighs something ridiculous like 5200 lbs with a 53/47 weight distribution (or something right around there); goes 0-60 in 6 seconds I believe. They'll also be introducing a 50k model (2 door I think).

50Km/32mi straight electric. I thought it also has a temporary max torque of 900ft/lbs

Eh, this is roughly what they were told by the people at the facility. As I said, I didn't go.

not sure how it's a volt ripoff. I mean it has similar technology for the volt, but at least they figured out if they want to charge a huge price for an under-performing car they might as well make it look great inside and out.

I likened it to the Volt because it's the same technology in a different package.
