Question about SL3 angled collar
my buddy bought a cp reg with the adapter for his csl, he said i can swap out the angled collar to my geo 2, is this all that i have to do, i herd they are not interchangable. Is this accurate. Thanks in advance nation.

the angled collar doesnt work on the geo2 as they dont have the right components to properly bleed the gun...they were only made to work with the geo 2.1 and egos...

Wait CP reg on the csl? I quess each to his own :p
Anyway, the angled collar WILL work on the sl3 reg. BUT its not recommended as the gun will lack the PCV. Without the PCV the marker will fire everytme you turn the air off.

It also depends on where the pcv is located. The later geo 2 models had it moved above the reg, the first and most models have it in the macro fitting. I can't believe your friend put a cp reg in a csl...friends don't let friends do that type of ****! Lol

I know right....he didnt even break it in yet and was complaining about the inconsistent chrono.

Couldn't be that bad....mine was +\- 5 over the chrono put of the box. It has to do with the paint bore match

People like that shouldnt own a CSL. Did he ever think that maybe there was something else going on that made it inconsistent before he went and ruined it with a $40 reg?

If i saw him at a field i woulld point and chuckle...the sl3 is the best reg on the market and shouldnt be replace.
Also,
How old is said friend?
