So I work for a solar company that has primarily provided proposals to commercial customers. Now, we are moving into the residential section...so my work load is probably going to increase from like 5-6 proposals a week to 40 or so proposals per week. I want to streamline this process and was looking into data management software to see if it was a viable option. Are programs such as microsoft access able to auto populate reports for me? Currently, I have a publisher template that I need to go through and change all of the data in each time I do a new report (system size, savings, etc). Is a data management program capable of me inputting all of the data into it, and it can auto populate the report for me to save me time?
