Ive been looking into opening another field in somerset, ky since Cumberland Paintball closed. There is not another field close to here that I am aware of, there is one over an hour away. Was just throwing the idea out there to see if the need was there for one. Im sure bdays and group outings would def be there since the old field stayed fairly busy with them. Lets here yalls thoughts, thanks!

you would have to focus on your rec/beginner players to make it though. It shouldnt be a problem though cause your right corey got plenty of business like that. I think he just got caught up in other ventures and it got the best of the store

Yea he tried to focus to much on tourney type players and other business ideas at the same time. I work at The Center for Rural Development here in somerset right now. Where you living at now?

I know hunter was trying to get a 5 man trny going at BOB. I would like to see a decent 3 man series get started for beginner players with a couple of local fields hosting it. I got ties in knoxeville and theres a good amount of beginners looking to play trnys. not to mention the players at BOB.

Yea I will def let you know. Yea a beginner tourney would be a great way to promote the newer type players. I had tossed around the idea before of different local fields runnin like a regional series type thing.

there was cumberland paintball unfortunately it closed down though :/ i think he turned it into a car audio shop

Yea it closed. He had a audio shop in the pro shop too. Like I said earlier, I believe he just tried to run to many things at once and the field kinda got left behind. I called about the building it was in and nothing is in it at the moment.

My Geo is currently being used as paperweight because I have no desire to drive the 100+ miles to Asylum or Ntense. Get the wheels turning and I'm sure Kyle and I will do everything in our power to make it a successful venture.

Yea I called and talked to his grandpa myself, lol. He said there is nothing in it right now and he agreed it could have made some money, but the rent on the building is kinda high. I mean not for a building that size but for paintball use. But it is still setup for paintball is the good part.

Im trying to Kel, she said she is fine with that as long as we get some of the money out of you being a pregnant man, lol. Yea I just cant drive that fair either, I have been goin to band of brothers some. Its up toward nicholasville.

I can get you alot of rec players up there man... & like I was telling you the other day when you mentioned about trying to do this you might wanna try to get some airsoft and nerf parties in there they kept me in buisness when paintball slowed up them kids love playing on a air field

Sounds good since the person running it would know how paintball is played. That building needed som work but had potential. Maybe there are others to consider? I'd personally love to see it! I would offer help but I can barely commit to anything but I can always talk it out with ya and will help when I could.
