Well, if you have tried the only two possible fixes there isn't much we can do.

Sounds silly but also check to make sure there are no wires laying across the LED, blocking the light a bit.

If its underwarranty, u might be able to get a replacement cheaper through DP. the other options are a seventh element OLED board for ur fx, which would actually offer small improvements to the stock board. If u have a rotor, ur gun will sync with it for more reliable feeding and i heard the seventh element has better eye logic than the stock board which means faster rates of fire

It is an OLED, which doesn't have a back light.
Blue OLED is actually the shortest lived OLED, however, it has a 14,000 hours half-life(after ~14,000 hours the screen will be only half as bright) and turning it on and off has no effect.

So does this mean the seventh element board is the only way of fixing it? Or do u think the replacement oled will work. Sorry if this sounds dumb just didnt understand very well and btw my gun is not under warranty bought it back in october

Would contact DP. They might replace the OLED. October is not that long to own a marker.

APE doesn't make a board for the FX.

Call DP and get a replacement. This is the best possible choice.
