'04 E-blade Pro Stock w/ Dry rotted solenoid - what are my options?
Getting back into the sport after a 6 year absence! But I have an issue with one of my markers. I currently have an '04 E-bladed pro stock that has dry rotted solenoid hoses. Are the solenoids available to buy separately? Would finding one used be better or will I be stuck buying the whole thing electronics and all? I just really want to play with it again, it ran so smooth and its killing me inside!
I guess it just sat too long and something crept in.
Any help with the subject, or a push in the right direction would be awesome

Ninja edit. Found the hoses.
I guess a better question would be, are there other problems i should be anticipating from the dry rotted hoses?

I'd anticipate having to do a complete teardown and replace all the o-rings and chalk up a re-lube on the gun stem to stern. I saw someplace on ebay last night someone selling noids for like $10 a piece which seemed like a great deal and you can get o-ring kits from o-ring monkey.

Thanks or the info! I did plan on replacing all of the o rings. Whats the hot lube these days? I was using Goop for a while and it was great.

Cockers use oil, not lube. A few drops of gold cup in the ASA and 15-20 shots without the barrel on and you should be all lubed up.
You can use a really thin coat of grease on the reg orings, but even that is overkill to some people.

Thanks for all the info! The cocker was bought a very long time ago and I neverl used it. The proto I used, among ALL of my other PB equioment, got stolen and sold by one of my really good friends ( apparently becoming a born again Christian makes you sell stuff that isn't yours, anyway). I've never been able to shoot an ebladed cocker and I really just wanna get out there and play again, so this seems like a good opportunity!
