He is a baller, but Marquette is actually a pretty dirty program.
FYI. If you guys want to know something funny, they (along with UCLA) cheated pretty hard to get Branden Dawson (The MSU starting SF). They tried to set up Dawson's mom with a job and they even paid for all of his trips up there and bought him **** while he was there. Didn't even get him.
Actually I'm tippco333 one of the most well known Rivals posters on the main basketball forum. I have years of rep there. Calm down child.
Obviously you're butthurt your program isn't too clean. It's not a big deal though; a lot of schools cheat. It's almost impossible to track. "reporting it" doesn't work.
Honestly, I wish Painter would cheat a little bit.
No, it actually doesn't surprise me at all, Marquette basketball did many questionable things concerning the student body when I was a student, let alone recruiting, which is shadowy in the first place.
I don't like people throwing out accusations without some kind of backup on it. Like you said, there is very little in the means of tracking violations or keeping tabs on whose doing what, so I don't think its fair to make the kind of accusation you made.
It's not cheating if everyone is doing it, even if it is to a lesser degree. That's a real ****ty excuse, but it's often reality it seems.
I just heard some dude on the radio say that Indiana has the two best players in the B1G. Cody Zeller a top 2 players? Looooool
The 2 best are probably victor oladipo and deshaun thomas. Zeller is definitely up there. His bad play was not entirely his fault. Crean is a ****ing idiot, had a terrible game plan againt a zone that he refused to change and had zeller playing where he absolutely should not have been all game.
Crean is an insane recruiter but such an aweful coach. It really hirts osu since he takes so many studs the bucks are looking at then does jack **** with them when it matters. Those guys under thad or izzo would be in the finals
I would probably agree, but it's close. Top 5 players in the Big ten IMO are:
5. Gary Harris
But again, the top 3 are probably interchangeable based on the game they are having.
Without DT, we are probably on Purdue's level this year. With him, 2nd in the B1G regular season, B1G tourney champs, elite 8 and probably back to back final fours, etc. Burke is better on defense (not saying much as I think Ross might be the only player in college basketball worse on defense). Deshaun is a better scorer. The fact that he averaged 19+ when for most of the year he was our only scorer says a lot.
