Can you explain this a little more? Your oring positions appear to be identical to stock so are you implying the stock bolt is 2-stage?

I'm not implying it. Stock is two stage. The 1st part of the stock bolt travel is slower then the end of the stroke. Simon and the guys did a great job with it.

Except a Taiwanese company JBS designed the bolt system. I don't see where the 2 stages are? The force, and consequently the speed, of the bolt is determined by the surface area of the bolt, resistance (primarily the spring), and the pressure. Given there is an acceleration curve, but there's not really 2 enunciated stages in the stock design. I could be missing something...

Yes and Simon tweaked and made it a much better system. That is why I said Simon and the guys. But back to the bolt. There are two ports that drive the bolt, one is the port with the check valve the 2nd is open. The check vavle slows the 1st part of the stroke till it reaches the 2nd port and speeds the bolt up.

I have to give props to Ross the Boss yet gaian. Once I got my original Boss Bolt, everyone at Waynes World of Paintball had to have one. Once we recieved our intial shipment, we recommended them to all the local Axe/Mini players and sold them out. Plus we have standing orders for them now and can't keep them in stock. Most responses are roughly "Single best upgrade I have ever done" and "I cant believe how smooth my gun shoots now". You have an awesome product Boss and even Wayne himself has stepped up to a Mini with a Boss bolt to replace all his homemade sniper guns as his personal sniper for night games.

Great to hear and thank you for supporting the bolts. Waynes World will be getting their new order most likely Thursday.

Man, I must've been in a bad mood when I typed some of this... sorry for being a d-bag.

Don't know what I was looking at, at the time but there are definitely 2-stages of flow in the stock bolt.

I want to order an infamous bolt for christmas, but I live in canada, so it's a 1 time order pretty much. I was just wondering:
1. Are the infamous bolt guide o-rings important with the bolt? What difference do they make?
2. Does the bolt come with spare orings or should I just get a spare kit?
And
3. What should I do once I get the bolt (set my dwell, pressure, and back cap then just break it in by dry firing?)

Thanks in advance!

1. The bolt guide o-rings are the same size as stock but are made of urethane. They'll end up wearing a lot slower than the stock buna ones will. I run them on my Empire markers.
2. I believe it only comes with the extra fragile paint o-ring. It wouldn't hurt to order extras especially since you'll only be ordering once.
3. If you get the bolt guide o-rings too, I'd use the brasso method to break them in. Other than that, the bolt comes with tuning instructions based on which spring you decide to use.

Any other tuning questions, check HERE.

Brasso method:

-remove bolt guide and bolt from marker
-install new o-rings on bolt guide
-dab some Brasso metal polish near the new o-rings
-replace bolt on guide and work the bolt up and down with twisting motion for a few minutes
-remove new o-rings, wash o-rings and bolt guide with water and reassemble

This basically breaks the o-rings in within a few minutes rather then shooting several cases through it.

I leave mine stock, no issues yet. I was playing a 24hr event this weekend and averaged about 7 pods and a Rotor off a 45/45, usually I run a 68/4500 and get approx 13 pods.
