I've switched it out a few times at my local store and it's still the same thing. I did notice it began to cycle a bit when I raised the dwell from what I had before which was at 3.3

Running the dwell a little higher is not bad. Are you running the small rear o-ring or the larger one for fragile paint?

Raising the dwell to 8 still doesn't cycle completely. I've also tried setting the reg to 200psi and now it's cycling, no matter what dwell, but it doesn't sound consistent.

I'm running the larger o-ring.

Do you know if there is a difference between the mini and axe check valves?

If you have the old optimus board you want to get that down to about 16 blinks if you are running the small o-ring.

Check valves are the same. If you are running the fragile paint o-ring raise the dwell to about 9 ms.

Well i feel like an idiot now, I switched it to the smaller o-ring and now it cycles just fine. I didn't think it would make much of a difference to switch it I didn't realize until your last post and going through this thread that that was what is was for. I'll check back again tomorrow after shooting it over a chrono. Thanks for the help though!

I gotta admit that I was skeptical about the boss orings. My axe came with a xsv bolt but oddly it had stock orings on the bolt guide. When cycling the bolt kind of studdered. I had some extra infamous orings that came with my other axe (oddly enough, stock bolt but upped orings). I tossed those on the bolt guide and the gun cycled perfectly. It appears that the previous owner had some chopping issues. I shot some super fragile evil with no issue whatsoever. The boss setup is certainly impressive. It pains me to say, but I swear my axe is as smooth as my vx'd clone and maybe even quieter. It is truly impressive.

Shot the gun this weekend, and after some dwell and reg adjustments I got it to cycle smoothly. Fps was +/- 10 but i was using a mix of old premium and bite. I think I just need more time to tune everything.

+- 10 could be viewed as pretty doog for old mixed bag of paint. Good luck with future tuning. Feel free to ask for advise anytime.

Is it recommended to buy the infamous bolt guide o-rings or do they come with the bolt?

Not needed, but they do perform better and last longer then stock. They do not come with the bolt.

Hey boss I recently just bought infamous orings from you and a spacer. One thing I noticed is the spacer I got is thinner than the one I had on my boss v2 bolt and didn't appear to be made out of rubber like the previous ones. I was just curious what these changes were for.

I have never shipped a rubber spacer. So I am a bit confused.

Well the spacer I got is just different from the one that I had come with the boss v2 bolt. I had just wondered if they're actually different or if I'm crazy. The new one just seems thinner and made of more rigid plastic.
