So you guys are flipping out because bob was talking about the flame, a woodsball tactical version, and a 10th anniversary faded stock g6r? Hardly news

He was talking about players who use the big bottles in the woods/scenarios.. Only way you're going to get close to 3000 shots. Use your brains a little here.

He said 3000 shots off a bottle, same sentence as a woodsball/tactical marker. As far as you know it could be a old 118 tank or something huge those woodsball guys use.

he never said specifically "players who use big bottles in the woods/scenarios" he didnt say 68/45 either. but it's pretty much understood *well to me anyway* that when someone is talking shot count, it is assumed that they're talking 68/45 since that's the most common bottle size? I think we are using our brains.. this is a forum where we can discuss paintball related matters. if we all just assume we know everything, this would be a pretty boring site to visit... either way.. when it comes down to it.. who wants to lug around all that paint anyway

I think he said "off a bottle". no size specification.
Its 2753 shots off a 68/45, by the way, if you ignore heat transfer, and your gun is absolutely perfect. Or at least, that's the number I got.

if thats the case, using a 90ci tank, 3000 shots is more than possible. I for one do not doubt the claim. My old g6r was the most efficient gun i have ever used.

Well in theory a gun can shoot all the paint you want so long as you keep feeding it air. A g3 can get 4000 shots if you feed it from a big enough tank.
I'm just amused by how vague the statement was. Marketing? Intentional? Yes and probably.

it was fairly vague, but i doubt it was done completely on purpose. Honestly though, anyone that has half a brain or has been playing paintball long enough to justify buying one in the first place should be able to understand what was meant by the statement. People on here overanalyze things and are way too picky sometimes. Not to mention on the fly interviews are usually less than perfect.

i duno why people are scrutinizing the "3000" shots claim... the g6r IS the MOST efficient gun in the market right now. I dont tune mine and 12 pods on a hot fill is routine.
the flame G6's are sick. and 1100 is well worth it for all your getting.

Wow I guess none of you guys remember the efficiency video bob put out when the g6r was released. Bob got 22pods off of a 70/4500 tank with an slp reg. this was before the slp reg was even released.
