i just got a nt10 and when i shoot a stream one or two balls break. also the eye pipe had a crack and a small piece broken on the bottom. sorry I'm new to dye, would this be the problem or is it something else

Well u should start by replacing your eye pipe.

I always had issues with my nt10 with it breaking paint. I replace orings, eye pipes, and detents. I notice it never broke paint in the summer, but it was a blender in the cold weather.

-Replace the eye pipe
-Check your regulator pressure
-Sometimes putting an 017 oring on the barrel back helps relieve pressure on the eye pipe.
-Make sure you have the updated NT components (there is a sticky in the NT forum on how to identify whether you have them)

and if it is cold out be sure to over bore and try to use winter paint.

I have no problems in the winter. I shoot a NT11 though. I also underbore to .680

had the same problem when i got my nt. the eye pipe was broken, so it was chopping some paint because the ball wasnt properly seated. replace the eye pipe and it should shoot like a dream.

Make sure u check ur reg pressure at 110 and do ur dwell at 6 no spacers and put the blue bolt tip insert this should help with the brittle paint, shoot quit and smooth.
