Major humitidy issues, this cant happen again

Had a turny yesterday morning and had some nasty thunderstorms the first 2 hours. After which we got a hit of humidity but not tons. My profilers were fogging up like crazy! Literately 2-3min into the game i only had about 20% of my vision left and was basically useless. Now ive never even had these guys fog up on me in practice, even in games 3x as long. I wear double sandanas so theres no sweat on my face or coming down my forehead. My team mates wernt having nearly as much vision loss, wearing I4s and pro flexes

Lens is in pretty good shape, like 8.5/10. Is it time to replace it even though its still in good shape?

I just cant have this happen again in a turny

Thermal lens' will only stand so much humidity. Most will deflect it under normal circumstances but if you have t-storm activity and high humidty then your heavy breathing adding to it. There really isnt anything that I know of that will stop that. I'd give them another shot, but if your really concerned a new lens is about 25 bucks.

Do you have a thermal lense in the profilers? They came originally with a lense with a thermal coating (doesn't work that well) but now true thermal lens are available. Get the thermal lens if you don't have them. You could also keep a cheap set of pro flex's in your gear bag for those conditions.

True words. The original lenses are not thermal, if you had the originals which are just a single pane of plastic,, yeah what you described is on par. But the thermals have a small foam going around the lens between the two panes of plastic and resist fogging tens times better.
