airbrushing mask?

Has anyone tried airbrushing their mask? i was wondering if the paint would stick with out getting removed when it got hit.

I used a airbrush to paint these i3 frames. Any paint has potential to chip/peel/flake off when hit. Preparation is the key to any paint job. I know what I'm doing so mine have held up well with infrequent use over the past ~3yrs. There is a little wear around the edges from travel and just laying them down. I haven't changed/removed the lens since they were painted 'cause that would pretty much ruin them now.
