I've used zap since the begining.

Prefered Bananna Banshee, then Tequila Sunrise.

When I owned my store, We stocked Spank, Amp, and Chronic.
Chronic was a great paint... Great !

I do prefer the Nelson line of paint, I look to shoot the best paint at the best price that I can.

Valken paint, last two practices it has been garbage. fate and field paint shot both and had barrel breaks and more bounces than I care to count.

I got more bounces from these than all other paints combined. Plus the fills are very "watery" .
Agreed. I have had bounces on my head from Spectrum/Infinity. Hurts like hell.

I took a head bounce with one and had to set out the day!!!

I love Valken graffiti and redemption but their infinity is a lawsuit waiting to happen. They dont break at all. Took 4 to the chest last weekend and none broke but left some nice memories!

Yea, my experience with Infinity exactly. It's like they are reballs.

XO Spectrum/Hotbox - Nuff said, it sucks. Oily, doesn't fly straight, complete garbage.

Inka Copper or Gold (Silver is OK): Barrel breaks ALL DAY LONG with Gold and my .684 Eigenbarrel. Copper is OK for breaks, but just like the XO crap, it doesn't fly straight.

You know, I had a fresh case of spectrum and it shot nice, not the best, but nice. A week later went to shoot it and it would not break. I guess it has to be fresh.

Other worst paint:
JT maxim (or something like that from Sports authority} weak seams
Monster ball
Blue streak +1
Wild streak
JT premium, the most seamless straight flying paint I have ever shot. The fact that it does not break when shot from 25ft into a brick all......

exactly!! 20ft and no breaks, just huge whelps! Probably could walk around and resuse them at the end of the day off the ground.

JT maxim use to be decent paint when it first came out

My field generally only sells Empire Custom (bounces, innaccurate, but leaps and bounds beyond monster balls), RPS All Star (Decent breaks, accurate enough, a tad oily), and RPS Ultra Tournament Grade and/or custom pro grade Evil (top of the line as far as I'm concerned). The paint I would stay away from is RPS Premium, we got custom shell and fill combos for a local tournament (meaning it was fresh from the factory) and I watched every shot I put on the home player bounce off of his body, pod pack, and even his mask. Infuriating.

I also had experience with the Custom Blend, and Felt the same way I am surprised that the premium you had issues with, But it has been a few years since I used it. Seems that their QC has been off, but when you sell that much paint moving out I am sure it can happen.

What is the weather like where you are...?

I was reading this thread thinking hmm i don't think i know of any pai....wait there is one........

i have never shot good RPS allstar, several tournaments over years (05-08) would get them in for the higher grade paint here.

The shells were brittle like glass almost, i've never seen a shell so much resemble glass (how it will cut you in your hands if you grabbed one and broke it) than All Star. I've see splatter off a bunker cut peoples necks and the shells get stuck in skin.

They would shoot like **** break in your barrel or just fly around like little angry yellow bees. The bore size too big for my .695 at the time, we figured since they were the size of a grapefruit they sat in a loading dock for 4 weeks.

Now to be fair this paint did have to make it all the way to nova scotia canada and it coulda been coming from a completely different climate and passing through several on the way here and improperly stored but im positive no one in the maritimes would have anything nice to say bout RPS All Star.

Heat. Stuff is like silly putty when it breaks, literally the consistancy of chewed bubble gum. Would rather shoot GI 1star than Heat.

I shot a fresh case of Heat last weekend and I have to say, I was impressed for the price. The seams were very small, so it flew very straight. Thick shells, obviously, but what else do you expect from field paint?

I second that.. Spectrum is super hard but shoots decent. Infinity was just crap when I shot it. Hard AND inaccurate..

Luckily I got a chance to shoot some Nelson Anarchy and it is some of the best paint I have ever shot. Right up there with all the other top brands like Evil, Marbs, 4/5 star.. I'm looking forward to seeing how their mid grade stuff performs. If you would like to know more about Nelson paint check my sig.
