Virtue Solenoid Leak out bottom

I've checked zdspb, tried their solution of disassembling the solenoid and cleaning if it was dirty, and inspecting for scratches or damage in anyway, none was found.

Solenoid does click, and the bolt tries to cycle but it is very soft and hardly moves. Any suggestions would be appreciated, going to reset to default even though my friend just bought this and hasn't changed anything yet.

Is the board new or used? The coil may be making the armature lift off of the bottom of the solenoid causing a leak. If possible, check to see if there is a leak with another armature installed, the armature may be misshapen and not create a complete seal on the inside of the solenoid.

Also, contact virtue to see if this is not a defective solenoid or any other issue that should be covered by their lifetime warranties.
