im assuming you are playing woods ball .. i personally when im playing scenario type games prefer a vest that i can carry more then just paint and tank. including water and tools.

Even when I play woodsball, I use my pack. I sometimes will carry a camelback with hydration bladder to hold water and other small things, but I usually put a few water bottles into my harness in the pod slots and put the extra pods of paint in the bungie straps. Vest limits my mobility and I don't carry alot of paint in woodsball games since I play pump.

Strap up with both

Depends. If your crawling and crap, get a pack. If not get the vest.

Sometimes putting pods back and stuff in a pack is a pain especially when getting rained on by paint. I prefer the freedom I have with one though and I play speedball more than woodsball.

Vests can be more versatile though, especially modular designed ones like a MOLLE style vest.

you should really get what is comfortable for you... go to the store and try on both to see what suits you better.. if you get a vest make sure the pods are in the back not the front so you can actually crawl

i would suggest just getting a pack without a space for a tank. I have always preferred my tank on my gun rather than on my back. The remote line always seemed to get in the way.

I have a vest and a pack, but for almost everything but big scenario games, I just use my pack. I usually keep my tank on the marker, though as it helps to balance it out for me and offer a makeshift 'stock' for steadying the marker.

I use both.
It depends on the mood that day, but usually I don't carry more than three or four full pods. My vest will hold six and my pack will hold five, but I've rarely needed that many! The vest also holds a remote line and won't shift as much when you run and stuff. It's a little hard to crawl, but I don't do a lot of that.

I use a pack. If it's hot or I'm playing a scenario then I might wear my camelback to hold some water while I'm playing

I like to use a remote with a pack, but only on my tippmann that has a stock. Otherwise I where a regular pack and use my tank as a stock.

At dday I used my regular empire pack, and shocker so I didn't use a remote line. I wore a camelback like someone who posted about. And it all worked out great.

Remote lines can work fine if you are playing rec ball and not switching hands.

I had a remote line and absolutely hated it. It always got tangled up and it even tore up the reg on my tank
