Also, will Rob have the limited edition colors out there ( ie that sexy purple one) ????
Credits are dependent on a lot of factors.
- Age of tank
- Date of last hydro
- Tank size and pressure
- Tank brand
- Condition of tank
- Regulator brand
- Regulator condition
A tank that's less than a year old is going to fetch around $70. A ten year old tank that needs to be hydro'd is only going to be worth $35, assuming the reg doesn't need any parts replaced.
Sure, you can probably get a bit more selling the tank online, but once you figure in PayPal fees and shipping costs, you're only making a bit more. If you trade in your tank at an event, you don't have to worry about any of that stuff. You also don't have to worry about an online trade going bad.
Best of all, you don't have to worry about the tank failing hydro and the buyer wanting his money back (plus the cost of hydro & shipping). If we accept the tank as a trade-in and it fails hydro, we won't come to you looking for a refund.
