yo yo yo paul messed up his toe opening the door , toe nail almost ripped off . im hoping it gets better by saturday any one have ideas to make it heal quicker

I'll double check with my wife (she is graduating medical school in a few weeks), but basic advice would be to:

Remove the torn part of the nail.
Clean thoroughly and sterilize with some betadine.
Use band-aids and Neosporin; change at least once a day.
Wrap it up with sterile gauze when wearing socks or shoes over it.

It should be fine to play on. You can always get some of the self-adhering sports wrap that is a little bit stiffer than gauze for Sunday. Just make sure to keep it clean, sterile, and protected. Also, make sure the shoes fit well for Sunday so that his foot isn't moving around and constantly banging his toe into the front of the shoe.

my dad always says and hes a surgeon to clean it and wrap it up in the begining if any of it is cut then as much as you can like when your at home keep it unwrapped and let it sit like if your watching tv
