WVU paintball Team?

Im going to be a incoming freshman this fall at wvu and me and a couple friends are wondering if anyone knows about the WVU paintball team/club?

In the past 7 years or so the team has gone down hill. It was too hard to keep players playing when they can't afford it or had over things to do. This made it difficult to organize stuff. Then again if you get in and can push paintball on like Mylan park to get a field and go to the meetings wvu might actually have a chance. Basically paintball around Morgantown has already come by and left. We bees people with the land, money, and time to get a field up and restructure a team to compete.

Well I got me and 2 friends that are serious about it and I am hoping I can get around 10 more to show the school that we are serious and we will play a tournament or two then talk about getting to financial backing

The team exists, but due to not doing community service we lost our financial backing from the school. What the team is now is basiclly 2 or 3 serious players that dont waste their time with the rest of the team because noone ever does anything. We do go to PPSC in pittsburgh occasionally though so thats your best bet at paintball in morgantown. Been in your shoes already last year.

I'll be a freshman this fall as well and I am definitely game to try to get the wvu paintball scene going again, and if we can get enough people to play, and I will be able to play anytime, money not an issue.

We can do it. Just gotta do a little fundraising maybe on game days? And then work with the school to get a little backing from them.

around the last weekend in august we need to have a meeting and get anyone that is interested or plays to meet together and get the ball rolling on this. we cant just talk about doing this. we have to actually get the club together and build it up.

I'm also in Boreman south and im also gonna be an incoming freshman this fall... Me and my buddy are also really into building up the paintball program so if there is gonna be a meeting or whatever id totally like all the info about that

nice man, more the better, and i am currently working on possibly buying a field with netting, but i cannot wait only one month then we can try to get this thing really going and hopefully ready for ncpa season!

Yes agreed!!! I was contacted my the president,, Zack Metcalf, he said we would have a meeting the first week of school. Took him an extremely long time to reply though. But we can do this I think we can get a good team together.

well i have good news!! I just purchased a speedball field with netting and all! Hopefully this will show how serious we are about revitalizing the WVU paintball scene!

wowow this is really coming together!!! where do u guys plan to keep ur markers while living in the dorms?? my parental figures are getting on me cuz paintball guns arent allowed in dorms..

i was looking at what other colleges do, and i believe they keep them either in their cars or in friends or family's houses or apartments that are not in campus housing.
