i have 07 empire pants... they finally gave out and i need new ones

the current label says 38-42 2xl, and when i would wear them i would pull them as tight as i could get with the Velcro strap, pretty much no more room to tighten them up...

should i go down a size to XL

normal pants would be 36-38 depending on pants... sometimes i would need a belt depending on pants

The sizes overlap a bit, so I would go with a size down. Keep in mind the 2012 Empire pants are about 2 inches shorter than the previous years models.
