Congrats! Bob Long is great as it is - I would just recommend getting some extra items such as lube, pressure tester and o-rings to make sure everything runs smooth.

Main problem with marq's are the owners not reading the manual and follow said manual.

Sounds like your marker is already upgraded as much as it needs to be.
Just go play with the gun, and not worry about spending more money on it.

Be careful if you dryfire that you don't shoot out the pillow bolt, other than that bob long manuals aren't great so I would recommend watching some youtube videos so you can learn basic maintenance.

Pillow bolt is great its designed to not break paint. Dry firing any marker isn't good for it. Your marq is a first generation of marqs to come out. They all basically shoot the same, any tank will work with it.

You must be extremely unlucky then, in all 3 years of owning my Rapper and playing 1-2 a week I never shot the pillow out. Or maybe I am just extremely lucky?

it sounds like you need a pressure tester....... if you do you have one make sure your pressures are set to around 70ish and 180-190ish based on you having the supercharged engine.

i would suggest that you buy a pressure tester from blast. it will allow you to set your hpr and lpr pressures at the same time. since you have the stock engine your pressures should be at 80 and 220

edit: heres how to make your own lpr tester. http://www.pbnation.com/showthread.php?t=1970464
i would still personally recommend getting the pressure tester that bob long makes for it though

i would not touch anything until you get a pressure tester. it sound like your pressures are screwed up. i definitely do not recommend adjusting the lpr till you get a tester. you run the risk of blowing your solenoid like i did

before you tear anything apart, check the battery and make sure its good. markers will start acting all sorts of stupid if the battery is low.

otherwise treat it just like any other high-end marker. they dont need to be maintained as often and once the pressures are set they shoot great.

only issue ive ever had with my rapper was when i first got it i rolled the first o-ring on the engine putting it back into the body, make sure to be gentle putting it back in untill you get the hang of it. i picked up a couple extra #22 o-rings just in case.

macroline fittings tend to leak, make sure the hose is in all the way and that its cut cleanly on the ends.
