No. You have to go right outside of the south gate. When you get to the light, turn left. Right after the next light, you will turn right and do a little bit of a U-turn. After doing that U-turn (Sorry I do not know what exit it is, but it is definitely not 87 north towards San Angelo), you will follow the loop (306) until Knickerbocker exit. Exit Knickerbocker where you will come to a light. At that light turn left to head south towards Lake Nasworthy. you will cross over a long bridge. continue on. The Airport will eventually show up on your left. Continue about 1/4 mile and on your right will be APB. There are a few turn offs for it, some more comfortable than others. There is a smaller sign that announces APB as well.

Yeah, the turn we use to get into the field has to be one of the most sketchiest exits I've ever went on lol. We use the one right in front of the field nearly.

By the way, if you have never been to San Angelo before, those probably aren't the easiest directions. I would tell you turn left out of the north gate, to Bryant. Left on Bryant, and then right on Knickerbocker. Keep following Knickerbocker for what will seem like forever until you pass the airport entrance on your left. APB will be on the right.

You'll have a lot more lights, and it will probably take a little longer, but it's a lot easier, IMHO.
