Operation: Market Garden (9/1-2/12 DFWAP)

Airborne!

I am heading down to Texas in 30 days to play in Operation Market
Garden at DFW Adventure Park. I know there will troopers from
the 507th PIR and the 508th PIR attending this event. Newly appointed
CO of the 508th PIR Chris Neighbors will be leading our contingent at
this event. I wanted to inform you of this event and invite anyone that
can to try to make this one. We have a group of about 30 right now
and WE WILL take it to the Germans. If you can come out and join
us great!!!

BTW, we're also looking for players who'd like to learn more about
what goes on each year during the Oklahoma D-Day Event, so if
you'd like to hook up with us we'd welcome a chance to have you

I just got to say the last couple of madivan events I've gone to have been awesome. Some people might call them chaotic and mad but thats exactly why you need a good commander to lead you through it.

At black sun recently we had a blast just trying to make it through each little zone/ mission and then we only had I think it was 15mins for paint and air refills then we hit the game again. It's that short time that can gain you the advantage. If your team is ready and the other team isn't then you get the drop on them. I love this style play because it's almost like your actually playing a real world style event. At any given time you could be the victor just because the other team wasn't coordinated. It also is a great way to make sure one team doesn't dominate the other to bad which is a nice safety net.

I'm already signed up to go to market garden and this will be my first market garden event. Does anyone else have some good stories of some market garden happenings?

This game is amazing! 2 days of all out scenario action! The best field in the DFW area, and with the amount of people registered this is going to be an even more epic game then last year!

Counting on it as a test, to determine if the Allied Army will
look to use it not just this year, but next as well, as part of
our recruiting efforts for next June's D-Day.

If you haven't yet taken part in The Oklahoma D-Day Event,
members of a number of our units will be on hand to answer
questions.

Also hope to see some good footage of the event afterwards.

Just a note Airborne units will be much smaller this year so they will be filling up fast.

I know your game will be AWESOME and that the players will have a fantastic time.

The Texas Roughnecks will be there. We will have 10 or 12 in our group. I am also cooking all the BBQ for the eats afterwords. So if you love a good game and some damn good grub then this is the game to be at. What other game promotor is feeding everyone for free. Cant beat this deal. I'll be smoking about 3 or 4 briskets.

Hope we have a good turn out because there's going to be alot of brisket.

Well i have been gone from paintball for a year but im backkkkkkkkkkkkk,with a new team and coming to this event and the TX HEADHUNTERS will be bringing prises to give away at this event and make our start in the scenario world. This team is made up of some hard hitting ballers so we will be on the field all day,and we will be going allied.See yall there and we look forward to having some fun.

We are having an open ref and planning meeting on Sunday the 26 at DFWAP at 3pm. if you are planning on commanding, reffing, helping with the event or just want to get a leg up on the action, this is a good time to start.
