Etek 3 equipped with Stiffi barrel

I've heard lots of great things about Stiffi barrels. I was thinking about getting an Etek 3, and I was wondering how the Stiffi performs on an Etek.

So, is there anyone out there who has used a Stiffi on their Etek? Is it better than the stock barrel? What makes it worth the money?

There was a guy you let me run his for a few games a couple of weeks back. We where dealing with ****ty field paint at the time. It was extremely light and improved accuracy. I am not a fan of cf barrels overall but if you are set on it you will see an improvement overstock bore barrels. My personal preference would be a freak kit. You can find them used if you want to save a little cash. I am constantly running a 14 inch freak with an all american front and I love it. hope that helps.

There is of course the Deadlywind Fibur barrel, which could be considered the best of both worlds - a light, carbon barrel, that takes Freak inserts.

I am running a Stiffi MF barrel on my Etek3. No complaints. The paint goes where I want, so it seems to be doing exactly what it's intended for. I cant comment on sound or any of that other jazz. I cant say I have ever noticed one way or another.

I started using Stiff tips on my freak back in 03, I bought that strictly based on the CDI factor. I hadnt changed the insert on my freak from 2002 through 2005 so I decided that I really didnt need to have a barrel kit with a bunch of parts. I just wanted single piece barrel and I cant find a fault with Stiffi. I think I'm running a .685 on one gun and a .687 on the other. Regardless, it's the Indian, not the arrow that matters.

i use the deadlyWinds barrel and bores on my etek.. MAN HANDLES any paint i shoot through it including field paint that stinks.. but i do have the bores to help with that.

i have the empire/invert nightstick cf on my etek2. i love it! its a lil quieter, but not a whole lot. its just so damn light tho! shoots anything. only had one barrel break, cept when i was using old paint that i knew was poo
