gun is a gas hog.... whats wrong?
ok... my gun is a gas hog.. like worse than an 03 shocker er stock trix. I get 6 pods and a hopper out of an 88/4500... YES.. 6 pods and a hopper.
I have a DYE Rocket LPR and G-Force ram w/ micro QEV's(same as freeflow smc). Yes i do have an eblade on there as well but thats not the probleam. I have stock internals... umm..... i guess whatever comes stock on an 02 DYE Reflex cocker.... NOW...
Whats wrong with my gun and how do i make it more gas efficent? do i need new parts er what?
PLEASE HELP!!!!

hmm i had the same problem with my dye cocker with an eblade. but all i did was scrap the front dye reg with a kapp rhino casue dye sucks and took out my lug and lube it with shocker lube. also make sure that your ram is well oiled, along with all other moving parts like the bolt and check your spring too it should be about at the end of the body without the back lug on it. i no get 9 pods off a 68 45 fill with a halo filled first.

Just use your Trix..
Nah im kidding.
I would have to say sweetspot your reg....then adjust you LPR accordingly. Maybe try out some dif. internals.

all the best internals in the world isn't going to help with efficiency unless the gun is sweetspotted and the timing is correct.
Also how is your paint to barrel match...

My paint to barrel match is perfect(i use a freak)

Third~ I have tried every timing setting possible.... tried the stock settings, still was getting 6 pods and a hoipper on ab 88/45
Tried naughty dogs settings, still no progress

Search, and try the FAQ thread. Great directions on sweetspotting your reg. If you dont know what it is, find out using these, and then sweetspot your reg. Guaranteed to take your problems away.

oh man, i cant believe im gonna do this after i told him to try the FAQ. ITS IN THE DAMN FAQ MAN. Alright, no more caps.
You need a chrono for this, so if you dont have one, forget it. Or do it at your local field.
1. Get alot of paint and air, as you will need it.
2. set the Velocity adjuster on your gun to about half way in (anywhere close works).
3. Turn your inline down very low, and slowly turn it up until your fps is the highest most consistant number. Its a giveaway when you start seeing your fps # go back down.
3b. Shoot about 3 or 4 times after every adjustment on your inline reg to get a good gauge of where you are.
4. you have now sweetspotted your reg to your springs, and you should now only adjust your fps using the IVG.
Your gun is now more consistant, and will do alot better on efficiency for it. If you get confused READ THE DAMN FAQ THREADS. sorry for yelling.
