Ohio Valley Paintball Players League becomes Newest PSP Affiliate
PSP Events is pleased to introduce the newest PSP Affiliate League: Ohio Valley Paintball Players League (OVPPL). The commitment to the growth and legitimacy of tournament paintball in the Ohio Valley region is unmatched to what the OVPPL has to offer. This series was created in mind of helping develop tournament-ready players/teams. With the support of the PSP and APPA classification system, promoting a first class Regional Series has become a reality. OVPPL participants will enjoy an affordable and consistently well-ran event as is expected with all PSP Affiliate Leagues. OVPPL's four events in 2012 will be an accurate representation of what to expect at a national event, thus making a clear transition to PSP World Cup with the series winners playing World Cup as Free as possible!

Open Pump RaceTo-2: Open to all player classifications.
Roster Size & Limits:
Open Pump RaceTo-2 (3 Man): 5 players maximum to a roster plus 1 additional staff member. All rosters must be completed 7 days prior to event through APPA. This is to ensure that all rosters can be checked and confirmed. Any addition made after this deadline will be at a cost of $10 per addition, there is no charge to drop a player from a roster.

* Note: PSP events can count either as the League Champ event OR two Other Events.
Open Pump RaceTo-2:
No Membership is needed to participate in a OVPPL event. If you are the series winner and take part in the PSP 2012 World Cup event, a PSP membership/ID will be needed. The cost of membership is $50
Proper Identification government ID or valid school ID will be needed to verify roster.
Please be courteous and respectful towards the check-in staff. Waivers are required for all players, staff, and media. Having your whole team check in at the same time will help speed up the process. Players or staff under the age 18 years old they must have an adult sign consent on the waiver.

Open Pump RaceTo-2 will have a 6 minute game time with 2 minute breaks in between points.
EVENT PAINT ONLY. We will have 2 grades of paint available from $50-$55 a case. Teams will not be able to use paint from a previous event at another event in the Series. Each event will have a different color fill as we want to make sure we offer great paintball that are fresh.
Player misconduct penalties can be assessed by any judge on the field, as well as the Ultimate Judge. Any action deemed to be player misconduct can result in a 1 for 1 penalty, 2 for 1 penalty, suspension, and or ejection. Actions deemed inappropriate can include swearing, hostile physical contact between individuals, throwing equipment, or just being a poor sport and making the event less fun for other players (this includes counter-coaching, etc) The staff at Pittsburgh Paintball Sports Complex has the right to remove any player from the premises.
We will be lenient, for this is still a local series.
