Ego9 shoots MAYBE ~5 feet. Super low velocity
I just got a used ego9 and as soon as i got it I decided to go through and perform some maintenance on it as it appeared not to have been used in a few montha
I replaced all orings and cleaned/relubed it.
There are no leaks and fresh batteries
Now when I go to shoot it, it appears like there is extremely low velocity... The ball maybe goes what... 2-5feet? I am not too sure what is wrong, I just reset settings to factory as well.
any ideas?

Are you sure you put everything back together properly?...
Try another battery, there are duds..
Is the bolt seated properly?

did you try adjusting the velocity? Maybe the former owner of the marker was using training mode?

Did you put the bolt back in correctly? With the inlet hole facing down into the marker body?
Seems really simple, but too many people miss this.

Check both reg seats, that the bolt is not upside-down, and that there is no debris clogging the solenoid.

Bolt is in correctly. Solenoid is clean. Regs look fine.
Doesn't matter what the HPR/LPR is at.

Yes it does. The HPR and LPR settings can and will effect velocity.

^ The valve guide? ^
Only thing is, how can itbe in backwards? Doesn't a spring slip over one end? Spring can't go on the other side?

The big hole faces the front of the marker, the small hole the rear and the spring should sit on the poppet... Also they changed training mode after 08 so it doesnt cycle the marker at all, as it was a safety issue. Im telling you its the valve Ive done it on accident before.

I'll check it out when I get home, thanks for the info. I was just confused because from checking the images in the manual I don't see how I could have put it backwards ><
But yeah for sure, I'll check
