My wife was in the process of getting my G27, but before she hit submit, I stopped her. In amazon reviews it said it was compatible with consoles... but when I really searched, it isn't compatible with the PS4. The G29 is compatible with the PC, PS4 and XBone... but it's years away from a good price drop. Not spending $400 for a few car games.

With XBone to Windows10 game streaming... I might pick up the Xbox one tomb raider edition this Christmas.

Honestly I really really want the XBone Elite controller to use for PC. I'm not quite sold on a Steam controller yet, though I may still eventually get one just because of the track pad.

Honestly it's up to you but I thought the same thing at first, and I'm 90% certain I paid $190 (like $204 after tax) for my g27, new, from Amazon, with prime shipping. I was talking with my buddy and I was like for that much money I could just do other stuff blah blah, but then he bought one and I used it and I went ooooo this is buttery smooth for the price. And we were playing Assetto Corsa and then we decided to play something else so we just moved the wheel off of his desk... Then we wanted to play again so we just tightened it to the desk again. Unless my wheel breaks, and Logitech won't replace it or something, this was a sound investment for me. I'll use it for years. I have no plans or interest right now of going pro (lol) and it does it's job GREAT. Anyone here with a G27 can probably attest to the investment idea.

http://www.amazon.com/Logitech-941-0...1&keywords=g27

Favorite this page or whatever, and just click it once a day and just watch the price. I'm pretty certain I've seen them go down to $180, lowest.

I was trying to sell mine for peanuts but no one even wanted it. Guess I'll bring it to the bunkhouse at the paintball field I play at and leave it there?

I stocked up on alot of good games this summer sale, not really much else I want to play

also, the tiger direct by my house closed

I wanted to go over there the other day to see if they had a 980 Ti or if they could order me one

I liked having a brick and mortar store that had all the parts I needed so I could avoid shipping or of I spontaneously needed stuff I could go get it

looks like its amazon and newegg exclusively from here on out

Yea, it's always way better buying an item in the store and seeing the people you impact through the sale. I stick to microcenter most of the time.. sometimes buy online and go in for pickup.

My purchases this steam sale:

Magicka
Grey Goo
Fractured Space
Chivalry
Fallout: New Vegas
Goat Simulator
Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes
L.A. Noire
Antichamber

Don't think I spent more than $75 for the lot.

There were a couple more I wanted, but the price wasn't right. I have a hard time paying more than $20 for stuff. I want to grab Wreckfest, Arma III, Shelter 2, Depth, Savage Lands, Alien: Isolation, and Verdun, but I don't think I can justify spending much more money.

Alien Isolation is really good. My biggest issue was buying games I knew I could "acquire" elsewhere. Especially ones without multiplayer.

Exactly. A single player, sub-20 hour game is not worth more than $5-$10 to me. I refuse to pay full price for one, regardless of its atmosphere and overall experience, especially when it can just as easily be "acquired".

Multiplayer is a different story, since the replay-ability is technically infinite.

It's really good. I played through the first mission and it brought back all of the feels of the old games. Controls are really good with a 360 controller, and only took a minute or two to figure out.

It also looks FANTASTIC on PC. I watched a friend play it on console and the PC version is leaps and bounds smoother, sharper, and the lighting more vibrant. For how cheap it is on Steam, you'd be ****ing up by not buying it. The "main" mission is pretty short but the other missions you unlock after offer up a good bit of playtime. It's not really a full game, think of it more of just a technical preview for Phantom Pain, but with all of the fun of a Substance/Subsistence/VR Training release of the other MGS games.

*EDIT* Kiefer Sutherland can suck a dick though. I don't like him as Snake. They ****ed up hard by not getting David Hayter.
