So Birch Hill will be opening on Sunday, April 13th. If you've seen our other thread, then you know that Sunday entry fees/all-day-air fees at Birch are only $5.00, and that it's also BYOP!
This will serve as a team registration thread for every Sunday (you may also feel free to PM Deathonastick to register), meaning that if you plan on attending Birch Hill on any given Sunday throughout the season, then please post here ahead of time (by the Friday beforehand) to let us know that your team is definitely coming. Let us know approximately how many players you'll be bringing as well.
We will be posting the Definite Sunday List of teams attending every Saturday beforehand so that you guys can prepare.
By registering here ahead of time, you're helping us to know how many teams to expect and helping us in being prepared to organize the day of play as best we can.
Your team will also (by registering here every week) have the option to PM Deathonastick for a specialized paint code word
that you and your guys can give us on Sunday to get a discounted paint price! Alternatively, teams are permitted to bring their own paint on Sundays!
By registering, you will not just be PM'd a paint code word, you MUST PM Deathonastick and request it once you've registered your team. You MAY ask for the paint code word and not end up using it on Sunday without consequence.
If your team does not show up after registering and/or being given a paint code word, your team has lost that privilege for the remainder of the season and will have to pay full price for paint at all future rotations. The paint code words are individualized for specific teams for one week only. New ones will be issued each week. If any player/team attempts to use another team's paint code word, the player/team in question will lose this privilege for the remainder of the season and will have to pay full price for paint at all future rotations (pending circumstance evaluation).***
You do not need to be an APPA registered team, or a tournament name; you may form a throw-together team and still register.
HOW SUNDAYS WILL WORK AT BIRCH
Check-in for teams will run from 9:00 until 9:45; Games will begin at 10:00.
Saturdays at Birch Hill Paintball are open for all types of open, recreational play on all fields. Pricing for Saturdays is NOT the same as rotation Sundays. Saturdays are also field paint only. Please see BirchHillPaintball.com for our regular rates.
Although teams are welcome to bring their own paint on Sundays (Saturdays are field paint only), we will have paint available for purchase at our pro shop.
We are a distributor of Valken paintballs (Valken Field is what will be offered at the team discount).
~ Valken Field - $45.00 per case ($40.00 with a paint code word)
~ Valken Fate - $55.00 per case
Walk-on players, who are SELF-EQUIPPED, and who are intending to play on airball fields with speedball players will be offered the $5.00 entrance fee and the BYOP advantage. Walk-on players will not be offered a discount paint code word. Walk-on players taking advantage of the special pricing are NOT rental players, and are not permitted to play on scenario fields. Walk-ons who pay the regular entrance fee(s) are permitted to play freely.
7-man, 5-man, and 3-man teams are welcome to take advantage of the $5.00 entrance fee pricing, as well as the BYOP advantage. 7-man, 5-man, and 3-man teams may also contact Deathonastick ahead of time to be issued a paint code word for the discounted price when buying our paint.
Xball, 7-man, 5-man, and 3-man teams may not play on any scenario fields when taking advantage of the $5.00 entrance fee offer. Such teams may play on any and all fields (contingent on the specific field's openness/availability at any given point during the day) when paying the regular entrance fee(s).
Again, teams need not be APPA registered or tournament names; you may form a throw-together team and register with us.
Again, Saturdays are ALWAYS regular pricing for all teams/players, and are FIELD PAINT ONLY. See BirchHillPaintball.com for our regular rates.
...for your time and for considering playing at Birch Hill. We're sincerely grateful, and hope to make this season affordable, enjoyable, and competitive. If you have questions, comments, or concerns, you may feel free to either post below or to PM Deathonastick.
