Living Legends is one of the best things going in paintball right now in my opinion. Not only is CPX one of the nicest fields, if not THE nicest field in the world, the amount of fun that is had at this event is indescribable. I'm glad that they've doubled up with the NPPL event the past two years and held them at the same time. It's well worth any money spent on it.

The only thing I can say is try it once and if you like it do it again. First time I went was this year and I'll tell you I'm definitely going back again next year if I can.

This is absurd. D-Day runs from Monday-Saturday with games every single day including the main game on Saturday. Each of the daily mini-games are larger than a lot of other large scenario games (400+ people each), and of course the main game on Saturday has 4000ish players. Hell, on Thursday there are actually two mini-games if you count the night game which by itself is an experience of a life time.
I can't say that D-Day is any better than Living Legends since I've never been to Living Legends, but I definitely want to make it up there eventually. The problem is that it's somewhat cost prohibitive to do both given how close together they're held. It would be very very hard for me to give up D-Day in order to play at LL.

I've played it two years in a row (last year I played both LL4 & NPPL), this year it probably only cost me about $300 for LL5 but I live close enough that we were able to drive. I've done world cup, vegas, huntington beach, and spent thousands of dollars to go to events before but this one is on the top of my list of events to attend.
It is a great experience, I love hanging out and playing with the people I know from all over the globe! You get to play along side & against pros, industry reps, other teams, youtubers, the people you know from forums and you're able to meet a lot of other new people too.

Id like to go back. I feel it was well worth the money. I spent around 3500 total event wise. While im poor now im not disappointed. Id like to go back but have more teammates there. I think if we go back we will just camp though so we can experience more to what the event offers and deal with less traffic and more cost effective. Perhaps just do what moati did and rent a RV might as well go big
