i shaved down my rotor to sit lower in my nano feedneck, looks sick and makes a gun that has a very small profile...have an even smaller profile. seems like a smart idea to me.

I can't cut down my halo b with v35 right? because it has eyes? what if i upgraded it to the virtue board? it operates on sound correct? so i would be fine then?

does it bother anyone that the nano feedneck blocks your view when looking along the side of the barrel at your target? Does it interfere with anyone's siting?

You can cut it down, you might just have to move the loader up or down slightly if you run into the false jam issue.

sounds like more hassle then its worth, would rather upgrade to a sound activated board or the rf board

No, I don't really feel like it blocks my view when looking along the side of the barrel.

You can twist the clamp to a different direction if it bothers you that bad.

I have a Halo Too and I cut mine with a hack saw and then sanded it flat. Be careful not to cut it too short, you'll leave a gap between the feed neck base and the feed stack of the hopper, which can cause jams. And yes, the Halo Too is sound activated so you don't have to worry about damaging the eyes or anything. Just be careful with it and take it slow.

Because the whole point of a nano feedneck is to have a Z2 or rotor its not going to sit much lower even if you take a hacksaw to it.
