Go through that thread and decide for yourself.
There's such a wide variety of great triggers available that it pretty much becomes opinion based.
These types of threads are typically not allowed, as people start to argue when someone doesn't agree with their recommendation.
That being said, I'll leave it open for a while and see how it goes.
PS I fixed your title. I changed it from "what trigger should i get for and ion." to "What trigger should I get for an ion?"
PPS I recommend the Critical RPM trigger. It's a little pricey, but out of the 4 or 5 different triggers I had, it was the best.

If you have enough time, the know how, the tools, and the materials.. I say make your own like I did! (i destroyed my first one.. but the second worked out well due to a change in the order of my steps) I'll post a picture later once i take one.

Realy the only thing you can do, other than what chicken said, is try some out. Go to a pro shop and see if they sell any or ask a friend if they have an ion. As Spug said above, these threads turn into vs threads and people bash other people for their preferences.

Man I wish my epiphany was black instead of red. BTW I like the stock epiphany trigger.

I like the stock trigger also, but I thought "Why not try my hand at making my own and see how it turns out?"
The trigger feels about half the weight of the stock one and has no magnet in it. But i'm thinking of putting a small one, that isn't as strong as the stock one, into the trigger to make it pull forward a little quicker and not wear out the switch as quickly.
