Because Strength, and Hypertrophy gains are based off a principle known as progressive overload, which you won't be able to achieve with 10-20lb dumbbells. Much like you won't achieve your desired physique by eating bagels and cream cheese.

Is Splenda really carb free when used in large quantities? The bag sayes 0cal per serving, which is listed as 1tsp. I noticed the two ingredients were listed as maltodexrin, sucralose. I know atrifically sweetners are extreme potent in regard to volume, but with malto being listed first, I assume that there would be quite a few carbs if you use a cup of it at once for cooking, even though a tsp of it is considered calorie free.
