with that said, my guess is that GOG/SP had old stock they needed to get rid of and that they're selling off what they had.
I dunno how I feel about this, if ANS is correct and everything is interchangeable with the old freak kits, there's nothing new here. I would have loved to see a new version of the revolver, or possibly a set of beefed up inserts so they don't get dinged and dented as easily. I guess we will see |

I don't know about old stock, since GoG is supposed to release new stainless steel inserts in all the small sizes they never made as SP.

Honestly, how much better could it be than the original? It's been around for years, and everyone has one... Don't get me wrong, I'm curious to see it, would probably spend the $200 to try it... but there's nothing really wrong with the original freak kit

This I agree with, but then there are guys like Super_Stanchy who are freak boring light barrels. I use my freak bored UL and my DW infinitely more than the actual freak barrel. I think this is just too little, too late, especially for $200 |
