I hear this field got burnt durring the fires and had to close down. Any truth to this? It's so close to me and I'd love to play here.

i heard it's closed too, not sure if it's because of the fire; but there's another thread talking about the owner's looking for a new field

No the field didn't burn down. The fire did get close but it survived. I've heard many reasons why it closed, one thing was insurance, they said paintball players didn't respect the property around the areas, and also the land owner was going to do some land development.

Peace-

I loved Conquest!!! So sad the old place closed down. The unique terrain and choice of playing fields were pretty tight. Refs and safety were good too. Although it was very rocky, (we affectionately named it, "StoneQuest") I really miss playing there. There was no other place like it here in Los Angeles.

I'm excited to hear that a new field is in the works. I have a feeling it's going to be pretty good. I know the owner wanted to keep it as close to the original type of fields and playing experience as the old place. We'll just have to wait and see if he can successfully score any land like it.

Any news on the new location or opening date yet? - I can't wait for the new field to open up! - I'm keeping my fingers crossed for the NEW Conquest!

Any news on the opening of the new location? I've heard it's going to be were the 5 and 14 cross. If this is the case it's a stones throw from me and I'll be there all the time. Hope it's a BYOP field. I hate having to pay for paint when I have left over or got a good deal on a case somewere else. keeping fingers crossed that it opens soon!

I played at the new Conquest on 4.05.09 great fields. The fields are huge and the trench field is so sick. One of the refs told me the password to get in on Saturday is "I am with the Ted Nugent Party" so you must enter at Paintball USA and tell the guy at the gate the password then drive up the hill and you are there. It was so great to see all the Conquest people again.

Address: 15112 Sierra Highway in Santa Clarita, 91390. We are located ABOVE Paintball USA

Very simple: When you pull in, just tell the parking lot attendant you are there to play Conquest / DC Games or tell them you are a part of the "Johnson group" which is a permanent group name for every weekend.

You can always call 818-503-7627 to make your own reservations as well.

The two websites for the field will be:
conquestpaintball.com
dcgamespaintball.com

Field is opened for business yeah.

conquestpaintball.com

Directions
From Los Angeles;
Take the 5 north to the 14 North
go 7 miles and exit at Sand Canyon. Turn left
go 2 miles until the road ends at Sierra Highway. Turn right
go 2 1/2 miles
On your right you'll see a sign that says Close Encounters Recreation Club. Turn in
Tell the parking person you're going to Conquest
Drive straight up the road to the Conquest/DC Games fields at the end of the road
