Z2 Problem
Ok, so my Z2 has a weird problem. Sometimes it will spin with enough force to load paint and other times it doesn't have enough juice to even move. If I toggle the switch it will sometimes work sometimes not. I have tried running diagnostics, changing batteries, brands of batteries.
Idea: Is my motor/board going out?

It would be weird if your motor/board burned out this early. I would check for pinched wires, and making sure everything is nice and clean.
Also make sure you put your loader back together 100% correctly and check to see if its maybe not your paint giving your loader a little trouble.

I want your G6r parts and upgrades, sell them to me, because you wont get anything for them if you sell/trade them with the gun.

I've been looking, no pinched wires anywhere. Cleaned it up, hopper is put together correctly and everything.

Do you use it for reballs? I had the same issue when I has my Z2 but when I took it apart there was TONS of dust bunnies wrapped around the gears in the loader. Once I got rid of that it fed fine

Well I dont know if this is an issue on the Z2 like the other Prophecies but, also sounds like it could be a drive belt issue. That its either too big or too slick (belt not catching on the gears).

It might be the drive belt. I cleaned the entire hopper to check for stuff around the gears.

I had the same Problem. You just have to clean the white thing under the slide window... I'm pretty sure it's called the sprocket.

I think hes talking about the 2 "gears" that come in contact with the drive belt. The tip on the motor and the "gear" that drives the drivetrain.

This happens when I'm just trying to shoot in general. And when I first turn on the hopper sometimes it doesnt spin and I'll have to push forward multiple times/hit the sie of the hopper

Maybe you should just contact Empire, you might have to send it in, I know lots of people are having a host of problems with the Z2s.

I don't know if the same settings are available on the z2 as the regular prophecy (waiting for mine to come in right now), but on my regular prophecy if I set the "ball stack tension monitoring" setting or whatever to off, it won't feed properly, and it has the same problems you have. It's the setting that (if on) it monitors the ball stack tension and makes it to where the loader doesn't feed as hard when you have an empty ball stack. It needs to be on for mine to feed right, but once again I don't know if it's a setting on the z2.

All the settings on the Z2 are controlled automatically via the electronics in the board, Just put it on your gun, turn it on and shoot paint.
I've never had a single problem with my Z2. Best hopper on the market!
