PT Extreme question

I have a chance to buy a PT Extreme pistol for $20. Is it a good deal? I know PT's are known for leaking issues but I think the price is too good to pass up. Thoughts?????

Depends on what you're going to do with it. Keep in mind parts are slim. If you're looking at this for a primary or always carry sidearm, I have to say no. I've had lots of consistency issues with my pt jr when it doesn't leak. I'm not sure about the valve on the extreme, but I'm having to manufacture one for my jr just to get it out. Nice project though...easy to pull apart otherwise
