2012 Valken Proton
Didn't see a thread fir this, so I made one. This is a gun that Valken is making. Many people said it is like the Mokal Aura. It is but it is completely different. I think they asked Mokal for the spec's and made one. It is $299 retail price, which is a little cheaper then the Mokal. A guy from Valken was at my field using it in mid-February and it shot great. It was a prototype one but it was amazing. All aluminium body and great milling. I saw it shoot and it looked smoother a quieter then most guns. I dont know how the packaging is, but still great job Valken.

I haven't seen one in person yet but I've been doing a little research on these markers.... I'm excited to give one a shot. For the price range, it looks like it'd be a decent deal

history and my thoughts
i'm thinking a lot of companies will be producing markers that are the same or close to the the same thing. however it might be one company used for the production.
around 2006-2008 markers that used the fasor system were made by a guy name mike spurlock like diablo-wrath, and the whole empire dragun line up and some others. what happen was him or his company were making or selling the rights to his design.
I think this is happening again with these markers. but i could be wrong and every company could have there own there R&D department and designing these thing. In the US or European/Aussy market.
however, i'm going to base it off that history. Some of these marker where being made in chinese market
Bob Long said that they are the only marker still made in the USA but I dont know if that is true. I would keep to that or European markers, I.E. WDP or Eclipse....Oh and that Macdev stuff. cost wise yes it high new but used you can get some great stuff. finally i will say see where the marker is made before buying it.
but i believe they are 100% in the US

I'll put this here. I just got one and here it is...be gentle, big guy in a work out shirt was hot and wanted to get it up here for people to see.
Enjoy
BTW feels very solid in the hand. Does not feel cheap at all. Hard to explain the kick. I can feel it but the marker doesn't really move much. Great budget marker in my opinion.

Oh something else that I did not mention. Regular maintenance is putting a couple drops of gun oil in the asa and letting the air carry it through the marker...
I may make a video later, when I get more paint, showing the other modes. Sorry, I do not have a lot of videos done and not sure what people are looking for in them. I will start to be a little more thorough in them

Hot Shots had one of the 1st ones in Ga. It didn't last 15 mins on the wall.
Awesome gun, shot about 2500 Redemption Pro through it today. I ordered 5 more.

somebody said they got theirs from yeti, when i looked on yetis' site it said pre-order. So I'm skeptical of buying.

Picked one up today at Maximum Paintball in Fresno Cali. This thing is tiny! Light weight and very well built. I really like the spacing between the fore grip and the rear grip. It's slightly LONGER than a DYE NT. (own one as well). Much smaller in the hands than an AXE (own one of those too). Clapper solenoid, so you hear a slight "clap" during the trigger pull. Gun barely moves when being shot. I mean BARELY! Similar movent seen in a Luxe or my NT. Havent had time to test efficiency, but I've talked to the Valken rep and he said 1650 shots per 68/4500 has been the average that they have seen. Going to play with this next weekend for WCPPL practice and ill chime back in.
