I had the same problem with my etha. I was using my SLP 50/4500 ninja tank and it kept dropping off after i started ramping, and we couldnt figure out what was wrong. I finally decided to try my buddies 45/4500 crossfire high pressure tank, and it didnt drop off the rest of the event... I hope this helps. Good luck man

watch this video

@7:10 Jack says that do not have lube on it on the Skinny part of the Can, the inside of the bolt or bumper
I noticed Etha is really sensitive to battery voltage.

Ya I know. No lube on any skinny part of can. Could it be the bolt front rubber tip?

I don't think I had issues with that. I am leaning toward either lube on the inside part of your bolt, battery or dwell. I would even try to raise the dwell over 12 just to see if it fixes it.

I'll go check my dwell now.
Should my solonoid be clicking every time I pull the trigger with eyes off? Sometimes it doesn't click.
But the battery is a Duracell showing green-good.

Okay, my dwell is at 12, and solonoid is not clicking for every trigger pull with eyes off. Battery shows green.

I know I heard mine every time I pulled the trigger. Some people say their Solenoid is really quite. So I am not sure.
I would try a new battery anyways. If it still does not work I would email P.E. Support. It might be a Solenoid issue.

Tryed a fresh 9v energizer, solonoid was a lot more responsive, surely the board:solonoid aren't that picky on batteries? Especially fresh good brand ones
You think this will fix my shooting flaws? Becuase it makes sense

Give it a try next time you go out. I think you will see that the Etha is really picky on batteries.

also, anyone else's regulator seem to loosen and jiggle after a half days worth of play?

The collar will swivel, but should tighten a little when aired up.
Try this.
Up your dwell from 12, yours is 12 now unless you've messed with it... To 14. From 12 to 14.
It fixed mine. Any other questions pm me!

Not hearing the click is normal. If the battery is a hair drained you wont hear the click but the battery is still good for a long time...as stated by Jack
Quote:
Yes it is perfectly normal. The solenoid works off a combination of electromagnetic drive and air assist (once gassed).
With a most of the solenoids, if you have a brand new battery that is a decent brand you will get the solenoid to click every time as the charge being supplied by the fresh battery is enough to drive the internal mechanism on its own. However, as the battery level drops even slightly, when there is no "air assist" in the solenoid the battery cannot fully drive the mechanism every time you pull the trigger. However once the air is on the gun the air assist and the battery combine to make sure the solenoid funtions perfectly.
Hope that makes sense.
Jack

Nice video Jack, just watched it and helped.
Maybe the the future, Etha should be shipped with dwell preset to 14ms.
And a question on the 9V. Would a 9.6V rechargeable be better than a standard 9V akaline?
