Opinions on the G6R........
.........by people who have owned them preferably.
I just bought a G6R with the following:
LP poppit
Tech T hush bolt
Tech T No ping ram
4c eyes
and a pressure tester.
Since I have never owned one, is there anything I need to look out for? Aside from oiling the bolt and using Dow 55 everywhere else, does anyone have any tips or tricks?

I loved mine. It was all stock, it was nice never really having to worry about getting air. Would shoot close to a case on a 68/45 fill. It shot laser beams and i LOVE the way it felt. Stretch out more than other guns which really upped my snap shooting skills. In the 6 months I owned it I took the whole thing apart 1 time and lubed everything. It never gave me problems, always worked, replaced 1 battery in it.

G6r is the most accurate gun ive shot in a while and ive owned pretty much everything. The grouping is consistently tight .

Ive never been a fan of the Ego. After they stole the design from AKA, I didnt want to give them my money.
They are very loud, which annoys me also.

Ill post it up, straight from the lead designer at AKA. Ill have to look for where Dan Voils posted the story here. It's pretty eye opening.
Nutshell; After the SP lawsuit, AKA went in with PE to design a gun that gets around the patent. PE had the optical trigger activation, AKA already had the Evil ehm in the works. The design is ready, but stupidly or naively, AKA didn't make PE sign a no compete agreement. So, they cut off communication with AKA and the Ego was release. So, basically, the first ego is what the Viking/Evil ehm were supposed to be.

I loved mine man. Like its shot really good, it has a little bit of a longer feel to it which makes it more comfortable, super efficient, great looking. Honestly would shoot one again any time any day
Sold it for 2 reasons
1. Money- (I had like the first one that didnt even have psp mode in it) someone over paid me for it
2. worried about taking it apart- the whole idea of the body seperating like that didnt appeal to me and worried me that it would cause problems on down the line.
Overall i really like them

Glad to see BL back with a good poppit then, the G6R sounds like everything the Vice wasn't.
Though either they aren't THAT good or you all are just a bunch of nutty gun whores!
