I hate to say it, but it sounds like he somehow got a barrel that is not threaded for the marker... IE not an autococker.

Post a picture of the barrel and marker separate. Then another with it after you attempt to screw the barrel in. By posting these, there's a good chance we'll be able to identify the problem exactly.

Really? He doesn't know what it means to post a picture of the barrel? And you guys are still convinced he's not trolling?

Ahhh that sucks. Was just wanting to see pictures of it. Would be interesting to see which threads are screwed...marker or barrel. One or the other has to be wrong. If you have another barrel laying around or a friend has one, can put it on the marker and see if it fits. If not, it's the marker. If it fits, it's the barrel.

Frost blue, ANS. Chalk another disappointment point up for ANS.

Sorry about the confusion. Did not realize I put a "K" on there. Get us some pictures. Maybe we can narrow down to barrel or marker. That way you may only need to send a barrel in to them, instead of the marker. Unless of course they want the whole thing...meh, worth seeing if it's just the wrong barrel got matched to it.

error by ANS. The frost colors are done by enamel, not annodizing. they must have put too thick of a layer of enamel near the barrel threads, or the threads on the inside of the gun enough during their enamel process thus the threads lock up cuz the enamel adds some thickness to the parts.... IMO return it, and get a normal color, or shoot the dice on another frost set

ANS messed up

Well the white "frost" is an applied coating such as duracoat or cerakote. It looks like it messed up the tolerance with the barrel and breach. definitely contact ANS and get that thing sent to them. I don't know if this has been asked before, but have you tried a different autococker threaded barrel? That may help diagnose which part is to blame.

Try putting a different barrel onto the G4, and try putting the G4 barrel onto a separate marker.

If you can, try a different barrel to see if that will work. If that works, then all you would have to do is remove the coating on the threads of the barrel. Depending on what coating they used, you might be able to remove it with "Aircraft Paint Remover". Just paint it on threads, leave it sit for a bit, and then wash it off with water... Again, depending on the coating, it might require a few applications to remove all the coating.
