Yah... it's decent mouse. It's not like I want to replace it anytime soon. Did you download and install the driver/UI from the razer site? If you did... when you get BF3, let me know if it locks up on you. I had issues of BF3 locking up on me, until I uninstalled the deathadder driver. But I'm not sure if that was the real issue. I was still new at computer builds... and I didn't update my BIOS and drivers right away. I just wanted to download games and play... lol...

Yes, I installed the drivers (it didn't make a difference that I can tell).
It works fine on Skyrim, Saints row 3, MW3, Kingdoms of amalur, and I am testing dead space tonight.
By the way, Dead Space 1 is on sale for $2.99 on amazon direct download

Steam had a combo weekend sale for Dead Space 1 and 2 for $9.99 about a month ago. I bought it... haven't played them yet. I just couldn't pass up on the deal.

Damn, I would have bought that for sure.
I played #2 on PS3 and I loved it, so hopefully the first is just as good.

The first is better IMO. 2 was good, just not the creepy edge of your seat kind of way 1 was.

I started DS1 just to see if it worked with my XBox windows wireless controller worked with it. Then I went back to BF3... but it was pretty creepy.

I like creepy
Fear 1 and 2 were intense, but fear 3 kind of fell off the scary.

I got that too. The first Dead Space is almost unplayable on PC, unfortunately. A 360 controller just doesn't feel right, because the stick acceleration is screwed up, no matter how you set it, and don't even bother trying to use mouse and keyboard. They fixed all of that for DS2, though.

I have no idea what your talking about, the controls on Mouse and keyboard were fine. Albeit a little clunky. You got used to them after about an hour of playing.

Did you turn off vsync? For some reason, vsync ****s with the input lag time with M+K on PC. Turning it off makes everything feel the way it should (minus the menu).
Dead Space 1 is still one of my all-time favorite games. Creepy as hell. The entire interface was ingenious and really got you in to the unique, future space-gothic feel. Fantastic game. In fact, I may have to reinstall it and play it again

Hey guys, I have a bit of a problem, thought I'd try posting on here before making a new thread.
So my buddy just built me a new gaming PC, but now that I'm trying to run Steam games on it, it just won't work. The "Preparing to Launch" box pops up, then disappears, but the game simply doesn't boot up. Happens with both CSS and TF2, but any other non-steam game works fine (Tribes Ascend or BF3 for example).
I've tried re-installing steam, verifying game cache, launching as administrator and pretty much everything else I can think of. Does anyone know how to fix it?
Specs:
Windows 7 64bit
Intel i5 750
Radeon 6790

Don't like the Mass Effect 3 ending? Why not buy a DLC ending, choose between 10 different endings with your perfect waifu/husbando, only $10 each.

I don't think I messed with Vsync, so that might have been it. I had already played it on 360 anyway. The only reason I had it was because of that Steam combo sale.

HA! It's a miracle I got coaxed into buying BF3. Don't even play that game anymore. I gotta get back into Arma 2.
