Good job ignoring everything about my post, which we all know is dead on. Please, by all means, point out to where a games launch date has anything to do with what I stated?

I just find it silly that people think they are the worst company on the face of the earth right now.

Worst company on face of the earth? No. But they're pretty terrible and it's bad to support them.

Didn't EA get voted as being the worst company in America in USA Today or something?
Their public image is free falling, its not just limited to gamers opinions.

Yea which is what I think is silly. If you're gonna take a moral stand, there are far better places to focus your energy than the gaming industry.

So you oppose my opposition of EA because you think I should instead be opposed to something you deem as more worthy?
You're not smart.

i think it was something like their stock has lost more value over the last 3 years than any other company on the market.
they said its in a state of almost free fall, but they are so big they still are worth several billion.

The consumerist had that vote. It took a few seconds to vote. One post on 4chan+kotaku+reddit+whatever and you could get 1000+ EA votes in a day, easy. I'm pretty sure everyone who voted knows that many of those companies were far worse but hopefully it was enough a PR ****storm for them that maybe they will at least THINK about not being so ****ty.
What else can you do though besides not buying the game and votes like this? It's not just some crazy moral stand, I'm not gettting EA hate tattoos, it's just the only way to get a billion dollar company to care.

Exactly. I just don't buy their games and if I see an opportunity to explain I do so. Same deal with Activision, Ubisoft, Blizzard, Capcom, Epic Games, etc.

Fair enough. Maybe I am a push over. It's not like I like everything these companies do but sometimes they make a game I want to play, so I buy it. Just like I hate the business practices of the meat industry but the alternative of being a vegetarian is too horrible to consider.

You can just find a butcher that has a local source and does on-farm kills that are far more ethical. Like the same man my family buys hay from we can also buy sides of beef from cattle he's pampered on his farm. No caged bull ****.
People have problems with various things and the next step is finding a way to alleviate that. I had some fun with BF3 beta but decided it still wasn't worth it. Same with Diablo 3.

My uncle raises cattle, so for my home cooking I generally have a steady supply of beef that I know is raised in healthy and humane environment, but when I go out to eat I still order food that can potentially have shady origins. When I go out to eat I will also order veal and fuagra, despite the way the animals are treated because those things are delicious.
When a game comes out from a genuinely good company, I'll go out of my way to promote the game and if they happen to have a pay what you want model, I'll generally pay a little more than the average to show my appreciation. That being said, I tend to look at the developers rather than the publishers. Most publishers are just thinking about the bottom dollar, but there are developers working under them who either can work within the publisher's restraints to make a genuinely good game, or who have developed the game completely independently and simply have the game published by them because they need some one to do it. So boycotting the game simply because it has an EA logo on the box, which is initially what it sounded like you were doing, is doing nothing but hurting a good developer who may find it hard to get their next game published because the last one didn't sell well enough. I buy good games. My idea of a good game might differ from your idea, but that's neither here nor there.

Yea, couldn't remember how to spell it.
I'm on my phone and stuck it into google but only looked at the suggestions. I wonder what fuagra is...
Edit: apparently it's just a way stupid people spell foie gras.
