I would eliminate all the douche bag *******s that think it is cool to be an ******* on the field by shooting the hell out of younger/new players, cheat/wipe, shoot at 300 instead of field 285 just because he likes to hurt people etc - you all know him!
This bonus ball is for your oh mighty on field *******!

do you play at multiple fields and does this happen a lot? It is always worth it to try and talk to the field owners about seeing if they will up the par for refs watching for stuff. Owners want everyone to be safe

If I were to change one thing, it would be the perception that paintball is expensive to play. In reality, it can be played on the same budget that someone would have to ski, snowboard, play video games, go to a theme park for the day or even go golfing (depending on your area).

I knew a guy / field / team(s) just like that years back. Pathetic is the best word I can come up with to describe that whole situation.

But not everyone that gets money from there parents is like that. I work hard, practice, and grind hard, and then when people group me with a bunch of kids who just hug a bunker the whole game it pisses me off.
Anyway, that is my rant.

A return back to uncapped semi. I never understood why/how ramping became accepted.

because it makes it much easier to identify and eliminate cheating. Besides, to anyone playing paintball at a tournament level, walking a trigger doesn't really qualify as a skill.

Needs to get big companies like Nike Adidas rebok and under armor involved to get big backing of pro players and a huge amount of paintball face time through sponsored pro ballers making it more popular and desirable !
Also less expensive guns... Some of these gats are way more expensive then real Guns lol

Don't got a problem with markers prices. 400$ works just as well as a 1000$ you can buy used guns for cheap work just as good too

Unfortunately? I think it's great. People who need the newest shiniest gun can pay the money every year, and those who don't need or have the money for that can get great markers cheap as a result. Everyone wins.
These days? When were high end electronic markers not roughly $1000? At least there are other options now.

Yes, the options are immense and the ability to get a good marker in a persons price range has been fantastic

I teammate of mine just through this idea at me. Why isn't Woodsball more publicized when it comes to big events and why dont Paintball field owners advertise as much as other private business owners!?

Woodsball is extremely hard to follow and watch. As for the store owners, good question.

Prices are a response to the economy and lack of players the prices just can go down or else we'll see more companies going over. There needs to be an influx of publicity and support from current players bringing new people into the sport. Many paintball companies are barely making ends meat for the size of their business.

instant replay. Unfortunately paintball right now is so underfunded, no one has the technology or cash show instant replays on a big screen. We are still a good ole boy network.
I video'd this weekends epl in Black River and caught some of the most awesome footage.

Advertising costs money. Very rarely does money spent on advertising in paintball create enough additional participation to justify the expense. Why? Because the money field owners make from each individual player isn't very much, due to the highly competitive atmosphere in paintball, so you need to attract a lot of extra people to pay for the advertising.
Now, if all paintball players would be willing to pay higher prices, then field and store owners would be able to justify more advertising to attract more players. You all ready to pay more?
