What is a good way to prep for a tournament?

Hey PBN,
just wondering what are some good ways to prep yourslef and team for a tourny. Any drills to run spesificlly, any things to stay away from, things to talk about anything.

If the field layout is available and you can play on the layout. This will help you and your team learn your jobs on the field, and get an idea for blind shots, lanes, drop shots and how fast the layout plays.

Don't strictly play matches/games on the layout though, make sure you still practice your laning, Practice shooting the spots you'll be shooting the actuall event, make sure to keep snapping and running all your standard drills.

I find it best to warm up with a few drills, play a few sets of games, then drill for a while, then play some games, then close with drills.

^^Don't go too hard on the carbs, but definitely hangout with everyone. A good team comprised of friends will dominate as compared to a group of hired guns, **** look at Ollie and Ryan how long were they friends, how long did they dominate?

practice snap shooting, run and gun, bunkering, covering on teammate as another runs, some 2v1 drills, and some running drills.

i agree that peanut butter is the tits..the fats r awsome...but why not carbs? thats where energy comes from..

Start the day with a good breakfast like eggs, oatmeal, and bacon if you wish. Carbs are boss but too many will make you too full and could bloat you. If you want good carbs, eat oatmeal. Oatmeal is the only source of GOOD carbs, all others like bread and pasta is all garbage. Wheat based carbs are good though. Of course, since you'll be moving around all day you'd likely use up all the carbs anyway, so eating a lot throughout the day wouldn't be bad, just don't eat em' all at once. A good way to stay satisfied is eat protein bars and drink water. The protein will hold you over but won't fill you up and keep you from feeling lethargic and the water will of course hydrate you. You could also drink Gatorade. I agree PB is good, though. Contains good protein and good fats and the fats provide energy. There are more calories per gram of fat than per gram of protein and carbs. You should really eat natural PB...Skippy, Jiff, Peter Pan, and all the others are all full of **** and isn't real PB.

Carbs = Burn up a lot quicker

Protein = Keeps you going longer

Not like carbs are bad, but you're not going to want to eat a loaf of bread before you go. Some eggs + Peanut butter, and some toast. Theres your carbs

Sip on an energy drink too. It'll get you ripped and focused. None of the usual **** like Monster, Rockstar or Red Bull. Those are all 100% garbage, don't work, and are loaded with sugar....You need real weightlifting **** that contains energy vitamins, caffeine, 0 sugars, and 0 calories....such as BSN Endorush or VPX Redline. Seriously it'll keep you focused and let you zero in your aim. You're talking to a bodybuilder so yeah haha.

Get your **** ready the night before, test out guns, triple check it, and get sleep. Get ahold of your team and make sure they all know where to meet and what time.
